Oannes it’s a work inspired by the mythological figure Oannes witch represents The GOD of knowledge to the Babylonian (Ea) and to the greeks cultures (Oannes), 

this mythological figure was the last one connected with the lost mythological city: Atlantic.

The purpose of the artist was to contextualize on a fiction way the appearance of this mythological being in our days!

Ivo Serra is exploring the grain and noise on image and sound and its amplification combining together to define his aesthetics identification as an artist.
